Job Description
Are you passionate about retail and have a keen eye for trends? We are currently seeking a talented Merchandiser/Purchasing Associate to join our team. As a Merchandiser/Purchasing Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of products in our retail locations and online stores.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the selection and purchasing of merchandise
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock levels
- Monitoring market trends and competition to make informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with vendors
- Implementing effective merchandising strategies to drive sales
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Previous experience in merchandising or purchasing in the retail industry is preferred.
