Job Description
A Pollution Control Office (PCO) position is currently open at our organization. The PCO will be responsible for monitoring and regulating pollution levels to ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting regular inspections of industrial facilities to assess pollution levels.
- Performing air, water, and soil sampling to test for pollutants.
- Analyzing data and preparing reports on pollution levels and trends.
- Working with industry operators to develop pollution control strategies and recommend actions for compliance improvement.
- Collaborating with government agencies, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders to address pollution-related issues.
To qualify for this position, applicants should have a degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in pollution control or environmental monitoring is preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of environmental laws and regulations are also required.
