Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and implement OHS policies and programs, including but not limited to emergency and disaster preparedness programs
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
- Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
- Adhere to all the rules and regulations
- Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce identified preventive measures
- Evaluate compliance and OHS areas for improvements
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
- Prepares and maintains government compliant company policies, procedures, reports, and checklists in relation to health and safety
- Conduct safety meeting at least once a month and ensure issues are raised and addressed accordingly
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
- With Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training accredited by DOLE
- 3-5 years of related working experience handling warehouses and delivery functions
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, as business needs dictate
- Certification by DOLE or DOLE accredited Training Organization for S02 Safety Officer (DOLE-BOSH training)
- Exposure on different HR facets/functions is an advantage
- Certified Safety Practitioner is an advantage
- Registered nurse is also an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to Php45,00.00 per month
