Job Description
A Dispatcher is responsible for efficiently coordinating and dispatching resources to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks. They play a vital role in managing schedules, communicating with drivers and clients, and handling urgent situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize incoming requests for service
- Allocate appropriate resources to fulfill requests
- Monitor routes and provide regular updates to drivers and clients
- Handle and resolve any issues or setbacks that may arise
- Maintain detailed records of transactions and communications
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant tools
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
