Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurately processing and recording all payable transactions for the company. This includes reviewing invoices, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive and verify invoices for goods and services
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts
- Obtain necessary approvals for payment
- Process payments using the company’s accounting software
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using accounting software
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
