Job Description

As the direct understudy of the Head, Technical Services, you will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing technical services in Araneta Coliseum, Theaters, and other special projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Direct the preparation and dismantling of the stage, equipment, and props for shows before and after the shows.
  2. Direct the repairs and maintenance of technical theater facilities, equipment, and leased spaces in Coliseum, New Frontier Theatre, and Uniprom venues.
  3. Coordinate with supervisors to assess the availability of equipment during shows.
  4. Coordinate with show promoters on rehearsal dates and the requirements for technical and physical facilities in Coliseum, New Frontier Theatre, and Uniprom venues.
  5. Direct the yearly overhauling and general cleaning of technical theater equipment and facilities in the Theaters, Fiesta Carnival, and Araneta Coliseum.
  6. Recommend and implement ideas related to stage and technical theater.
  7. Recommend hiring/augmentation of contractual workers from the Human Resources Division.
  8. Prepare and submit necessary reports.
  9. Assume responsibility for the discipline, attendance, work performance, training, and development of personnel under your supervision.
