Job Description
A Utilization Review Nurse is responsible for analyzing healthcare services provided to patients to ensure they are necessary and cost-effective. As a WFH (Work From Home) position, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and have a positive impact on patient care.
Your main responsibilities will include reviewing medical records, conducting audits, and liaising with healthcare providers to evaluate the appropriateness and quality of care provided. You will also collaborate with insurance companies and assist in making decisions regarding pre-authorization and utilization of medical services.
To excel in this role, a candidate should have excellent analytical and communication skills. You should be able to interpret medical information accurately and efficiently. Additionally, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently are key attributes for success in this position.
