Job Description

Primary Functions:

• Direct and supervise the activities of the field sales operations
• Ensure that trade and customer relations are maintained at all times
• Assist in the development of marketing and sales plans and strategies

Key Responsibility:

1. Direct and supervise the activities of the field sales operations.
   1. Contribute to the attainment of the Division sales forecasts and objectives by distributing sales targets among the unit sales force.
   2. Ensure that the unit sales targets and objectives are achieved by closely monitoring the performance of individual sales personnel through regular reviews of their sales activities.
   3. Provide unit sales force with the necessary tools and support in effectively carrying out their sales functions.
   4. Effectively communicating to them the Division and Unit sales targets and object targets and objectives, pricing, and other company policies.
   5. Attending to the needs, problems, and other concerns of the sales force.
   6. Conduct regular performance appraisals on the various aspects of the sales personnel’s job.
2. Ensure that trade and customer relations are maintained at all times.
   1. Establish and maintain business contacts by conducting client visits as frequently as necessary.
   2. Provide efficient customer service by attending to customer complaints and concerns and resolving them immediately.
3. Assist in the development of marketing and sales plans and strategies.
   1. Process information needs in the development of sales and marketing plans and programs by organizing, validating, and analyzing field sales data.
