Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Assistant Kitchen Team Leader at our esteemed establishment. Working in close collaboration with the Kitchen Team Leader, the Assistant Kitchen Team Leader will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and the delivery of high-quality meals to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Kitchen Team Leader in the day-to-day management of kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, complying with food health and safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning, ensuring variety and adherence to culinary standards
- Train new kitchen staff members on proper cooking techniques and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
