Job Description
Gardenia Bakeries Phils., Inc. is a multi-national company operating in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and other countries in Asia. In 1998, Gardenia Phils. established a state-of-the-art bread factory, recognized as one of the most modern large-scale bread manufacturing facilities in the country.
- Assisting in the preparation of semi-monthly payroll, performance bonus, 13th month pay, sick leave conversion, annual increase, and other remuneration for the branch.
- Assisting in the preparation of employees’ alpha list and reconciling it with the general ledger and remittance return of income tax withheld on compensation reported to BIR.
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget for payroll and other personnel costs for GBPI and other entities.
- Preparing monthly remittances for employees’ premiums and loan payments (SS, HDMF, Philhealth).
- Computation of final pay, ensuring employees’ accountability to the company.
- Processing of semi-monthly meal allowance and expense reimbursement for field personnel.
- Preparing journal voucher entries related to payroll, meal allowance, and related accrual.
- Updating and monitoring accounting schedules related to payroll.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, tax codes, and regulatory or government offices’ circulars.
- Performing other assigned functions by higher authorities.
