Job Description
- Assist in the preparation of food orders
- Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
- Clean and sanitize food preparation workstations
- Clean kitchen equipment and appliances
- Clean benchtops, floors, ovens, and ranges
- Assist in food preparation by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
- Follow all food health and safety requirements
- Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage
- Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors
- Retrieve food items as requested by chefs
- Throw out trash
