Job Description

This is a pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

Recreation Services Manager shall be responsible for all resale operations and recreational programs. The Manager or Coordinator should be proficient in officiating various sports such as Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Flag Football.

Additionally, candidates must have at least 5 years of specialized experience as NF-4 of a NAFI or as a middle manager in a similar capacity in civilian commercial business. A certified American Red Cross Life Guard Training Instructor is required.

Applicants should possess a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university with a major study in one or more areas of the appropriate field of recreation, or 3 years of general experience demonstrating understanding of recreation goals, principles, methods, and techniques. Candidates should also have an understanding of individual and group interests and motivations.
