Job Description

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or equivalent
• Preferably with experience in import, export, or a relevant role
• Knowledgeable in import and export processes
• At least 1 year of experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage data for international and local shipment, and local and international ports management and provide support for the various steps of the mobilization procedure.
• Coordinate with the customs agent, freight forwarders, warehouse staff, shipping companies, clients, suppliers, and manufacturers regarding shipping, receiving, and record-keeping international and local transactions.
• Responsible for the mobilization of inter-island and international shipments, preparation of orders, manage pricing information on typical locations where shipments are regularly inquired.
• Approval of invoices of suppliers and freight forwarder agents based on the agreed initial negotiation.
• Send documentation that coincides with shipments and importation. Also, responsible for maximizing space capacity and coordinate with the delivery schedule in the stockyard or warehouse.
• Prepare and process all import documents and broker invoices as well as management of all container shipments in coordination with freight carriers and customers.
• Monitoring delivery of all cargoes and processing all custom releases, attention to detail of all receivables within the time frame procedure and assisting the supervisor in case of transaction issues.
• Maintain status report for all shipments, ensure knowledge of technical issues for brokers, and collaborate with various departments in the releasing of all goods from customs.
• Maintain and update all the clearance and permits needed in the custom process.
• Perform other work as requested by the immediate supervisor.
