Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented professional seeking an exciting career opportunity in the automotive industry? We are currently hiring for the position of Auto Material Damage Auditor.
As an Auto Material Damage Auditor, your main role will be to inspect and assess the extent of damage to vehicles involved in accidents or claims. You will be responsible for accurately documenting and evaluating the repair estimates provided by repair shops and ensuring they align with industry guidelines and standards. Your expertise will be crucial in determining the appropriate repair costs and facilitating the claim settlement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles and review repair estimates
- Ensure repair costs are justified and align with industry guidelines
- Collaborate with repair shops and insurance adjusters to resolve any discrepancies
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on material damage assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of assessments and findings
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in automotive repairs is a plus
- Prior experience as an auto body technician, insurance adjuster, or material damage auditor
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and estimation software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
