Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Graduate
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an underwriting assistant/underwriter
- Able to work independently
- Experience with Commercial, Property and Casualty insurance underwriting
- Experience working with carriers (insurers and brokers)
- Amenable to work in a temporary hybrid work set-up, nightshift
- Amenable to work at: BGC, Taguig
JOB OVERVIEW:
- To assist the underwriter in the renewal process for policy/account renewals.
- Review and forward all new and renewal business submissions from brokers and ascertain that all required information is provided. In case of missing information, contact the Broker via email or phone call.
- Assist the underwriter in pricing the risk, rating the policy premium, and preparing the quote and binder.
- To review the policy for accuracy in comparison with the binder, send the reviewed policy to the broker within the required time frame.
- Assist National Accounting Centers (NAC) with any questions or problems in connection with premium payment plans/installment plans.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to Php40,00.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Evening shift
Supplemental pay types:
- 13th-month salary
Experience:
- Underwriting assistant/underwriter: 3 years (Preferred)
- Commercial, Property and Casualty insurance: 2 years (Preferred)
