Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Rheumatology Medical Biller. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately billing and coding medical procedures, treatments, and services related to rheumatology patients. It is essential to have a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and insurance billing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and accurately code medical procedures, treatments, and services
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance providers
- Follow up on denied or unpaid claims
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing guidelines
Successful candidates will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a high attention to detail. Strong communication skills are also necessary to effectively communicate with physicians, insurance companies, and patients.
