Job Description
Overall Job Description:
- Answer emails & phone from dealers in a professional manner.
- Price custom cabinet requests and enter quotes into the EZ-Pricing system. Process approved quotes into sales orders.
- Create 2D Drawings for customers as needed to accompany custom quotes.
- Analyze dealer requests and ask appropriate follow-up questions to determine dealer’s custom cabinet needs.
- Provide semi-custom cabinetry solutions for dealers using Fabuwood’s stock and semi-custom options. Advise dealers when custom doors or full custom cabinets are required.
- Frequently communicate with other departments to develop solutions and share ideas/updates.
- Assist Customer Service Teams regarding answers on products & accessory options.
Required Skillsets:
- Prepares accurate quotes for special items by gathering information and analyzing material and labor cost.
- Be a team player, be open to others’ ideas and perspectives.
- Ability to learn the products of the company to assist customers in making choices.
- Basic understanding of what components make up a cabinet, such as frame, side panels, back panel, top/bottom panel, and/or structural cleats, shelving, fixed shelves, toe kick, hinging, and door(s).
- General idea of how the components fit together using methods such as tongue & groove, dado, dovetail, dowels, screws, etc.
- Familiarity with framed versus frameless cabinetry.
- Ability to work with 2D drawings in CAD, understanding basic layouts and appliance specs.
- Good understanding of Mathematics including fractions and decimals.
- Attention to details and organizational skills.
- Good English skills in speaking, listening, writing, and reading.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Night shift
Supplemental pay types:
