Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Supervisor-Steward. As a Supervisor-Steward, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the stewarding department, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead a team of stewards to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Train and develop stewarding staff in proper procedures and techniques.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
