Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented General Accounting Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts.
To succeed in this position, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using accounting software. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are crucial for this role. Additionally, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Perform data entry and bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
