Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Manager Procurement at Philip Morris International. As the Manager Procurement, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement activities within our organization. Your main role will involve developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the availability of goods and services required by our company.
In this role, you will need to have strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management. You will be expected to identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline the procurement process, and ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance
- Review and approve purchase orders and contracts
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is also required. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will be leading a team of procurement professionals.
