Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Associate Proofreader to join our team. As an Associate Proofreader, your primary responsibility will be to carefully review and correct written materials for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
You will work collaboratively with our editorial team to ensure that all content is accurate, consistent, and adheres to our company’s style guide. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and professionalism of our written materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly proofread written materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors
- Collaborate with editors to maintain consistency and accuracy in all content
- Adhere to company style guide and ensure adherence across all written materials
- Track and manage corrections and changes using appropriate software and tools
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using proofreading software and tools
- Prior experience in proofreading or editing is preferred
