Job Description
The main job responsibility of the Actuarial Supervisor is to review and analyze the reports submitted by the Actuarial Analyst. The Actuarial Supervisor must spot errors and help the Actuarial Analyst to establish and implement process improvements to attain efficiency. The Actuarial Supervisor is also responsible for mentoring and coaching of his/her subordinates. Complex tasks that an Actuarial Analyst cannot perform may be assigned from time to time.
- Review and analyze all submitted deliverables by the Actuarial Analyst, whether regular or ad hoc report.
- Submit reports to his/her Immediate Supervisor for review and approval.
- Provide insights and recommendations as deemed necessary, and report any unusual movement in the data as observed.
- Update Weekly Production Report.
- Participate in any Actuarial Committee-related activities.
Requirements:
- College Graduate of 4 or 5 year-course, Preferably BS Mathematics, BS Statistics, BS Actuarial Science, BS Applied Mathematics, BS Economics, BS Computer Science, BS Data Analytics, BS Artificial Intelligence, or BS Electronics and Communication Engineering
- At least 2 to 3 years experience
- Knowledge in Business Intelligence softwares (e.g. MS Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Sisense, etc)
- Knowledge in VBA and SQL is an advantage but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,00.00 – Php30,00.00 per month
