Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operations Officer (Purchasing). In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company’s purchasing activities.
As an Operations Officer (Purchasing), your main duties will include sourcing and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will also be responsible for managing inventory levels, analyzing market trends, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
To excel in this position, you should have a strong background in purchasing and supply chain management. You should be familiar with vendor management software and have excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Source and select vendors based on quality, price, and delivery time
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Manage inventory levels and optimize stock levels
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
