Job Description
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger accounting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including analyzing financial data to make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, and communicate results to senior management.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits, prepare audit reports, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Advise management on financial decisions, such as investments, budgets, and cash flow management.
- Provide guidance and support to accounting team members.
- Manage and reconcile accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and other clerical duties as assigned.
