Job Description

The SMX Convention Center Aura is currently looking for an Event Services Assistant to join our team. As an Event Services Assistant, you will work closely with the Senior Branch Manager/Event Services Manager to plan and execute events, ensuring the satisfaction of our clients at SMX Olongapo. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the detailed planning and execution of events, including upselling on room requirements, equipment rental, and F&B offerings
  • Coordinate with accredited caterers for food sales opportunities
  • Maintain effective customer relationships and ensure exceptional customer service
  • Execute client requirements as specified in the Banquet Event Order
  • Communicate with clients to plan and coordinate events
  • Ensure professionalism, ethics, and a positive attitude towards clients, staff, partners, and mall representatives
  • Manage expenses by conducting thorough walk-throughs, accounting for damages, and confirming staffing levels
  • Detail additional charges in Service Work Orders and review event postings for accuracy

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in event planning or customer service is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and deliver exceptional service

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From Php16,00.00 per month
