Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance when required.
Responsibilities include investigating, diagnosing, resolving, and recovering from hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to the 2nd or 3rd level in accordance with Service Desk processes. Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.
Maintain ownership of user issues and services, ensuring that they receive resolutions within a reasonable timeframe. Take responsibility for all hardware and application support, queries, issues, and problems, as well as monitoring, operating, managing, and delivering issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of Vocational / Bachelor’s degree in any IT-related course
- Must have at least 1-year experience in IT Support
- Open for Project-based employment (1-year renewable contract)
- Willing to work in Quezon City with a shifting schedule
- Willing to render overtime during weekends/rest days if needed
