Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and recovery for hardware/software problems.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate level of support in accordance with Service Desk processes.
- Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.
- Maintain ownership of user issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform general preventive maintenance tasks on PCs, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripheral equipment.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Vocational/Bachelor’s degree in any IT-related course.
- At least 1-year experience in IT Support is required.
- Open for Project-based employment (1-year renewable contract).
- Willing to work in Quezon City, with a shifting schedule.
- Willing to render overtime during weekends/rest days if needed.
