Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. They will troubleshoot problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance when required.
Responsibilities include investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and recovery of hardware/software problems. If unable to resolve, escalate to 2nd or 3rd level according to Service Desk processes. They will also manage service request, software installation, new computer setups, upgrades, and more.
The candidate will maintain ownership of users’ issues and services, ensuring they receive resolution within a reasonable time frame. They will be responsible for all hardware and application support, queries, issues, and problems, and take ownership in monitoring, operating, managing, completing, and delivering issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be a graduate of Vocational / Bachelor’s degree in any IT Related course
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in IT Support
- Open for Project-based employment (1-year renewable contract)
- Willing to work in Makati City, with a shifting schedule
- Willing to render OT during weekends/rest days if needed
