OVERVIEW

Centaur Marketing is looking for a Freelance (Part-Time) Media Relations to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reaching out to existing and new media outlets to secure coverage about our clients’ products & services in Vietnam.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing communications with traditional (print, television, radio) and new (digital, bloggers) media.
• Preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other initiatives to contribute to each project’s success.
• Protecting and promoting clients’ images in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner.
• Cultivating and enhancing collaborative working relationships within the press and publicity community.
• Developing distribution calendars to ensure efficient flow of news about clients to the media.
• Optimizing communication systems to enhance accuracy of communication.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with press contacts in the Philippines and around the world.
• Planning and overseeing press events.
• Detecting and addressing public relations issues as they emerge.
• Researching new media targets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with project management software, Trello.
• Proficient writer.
• Comfortable in phone, email, and in-person communication.
• An excellent communicator and collaborator.
• Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of meeting daily deadlines.
• Good analytical skills.
• Pleasant and personable demeanor.
