Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Purchasing Officer to assist the company in creating strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining the existing ones. The Purchasing Officer responsibilities include sourcing goods, materials, and services at competitive prices and advising upper-level staff members on which suppliers to contract with. You should be able to maintain and update the supplier database and find alternative suppliers if the existing ones are unable to meet their obligations. Purchasing Officer duties include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years proven experience as Purchasing Officer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Sound time-management and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Php16,00.00 – Php20,00.00 per month
