Job Description
We are currently seeking a Payor Contracting Specialist to join our team. As a Payor Contracting Specialist, you will be responsible for negotiating and managing contracts with insurance payors and other reimbursement entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze payor contracts and ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies
- Negotiate and renegotiate contracts with payors to maximize reimbursement rates and secure favorable contract terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement negotiation strategies
- Monitor payor performance and address any contract issues or disputes
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in reimbursement policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payor contracting or reimbursement management
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and payor contract language
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
