Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Review and Coding Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Review and Coding Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient coding and billing for medical services provided. Your responsibilities will include reviewing clinical documentation, assigning appropriate diagnosis codes, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
Key qualifications and requirements for this role include:
- A valid RN license and a minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- Certification in coding (e.g., CCS, CPC) is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems
- Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and reimbursement policies
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
