Job Description
Are you passionate about both agriculture and technology? Do you have a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills? We are currently seeking an experienced Agricultural Drone Pilot to join our team.
As an Agricultural Drone Pilot, you will be responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with high-resolution cameras and sensors to collect data on crop health, field conditions, and irrigation needs. You will use this information to help farmers optimize their agricultural practices and increase crop yields.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and execute drone flights to collect data on crop health and field conditions
- Analyze images and sensor data to identify areas requiring attention
- Provide recommendations to farmers on crop management, irrigation, and pest control
- Collaborate with agronomists and agricultural engineers to develop data-driven solutions
- Maintain and calibrate drones, cameras, and sensors
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in drone technology and agricultural practices
Requirements:
- Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Experience in drone operation and aerial photography
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and crop management
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
