Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Medical Biller. As a Medical Biller, your primary responsibility will be to accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies. You will be responsible for ensuring that all billing is done in compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines.
In this role, you will work closely with medical coding specialists, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve any billing issues and ensure timely reimbursement. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and verify accuracy of medical coding and patient information
- Prepare and submit electronic claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
- Maintain patients’ billing records and documentation
