Job Description
- Act as the first level support for IT related issues.
- Oversee and update assigned support service requests.
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of desktop hardware and software including operating system, anti-virus programs, internet browser, client email, interface programs, MS Office productivity programs; and support for multi-media devices and other peripherals.
- Set-up desktop computers and peripherals.
- Test computers to ensure proper functioning of computer systems.
- Train end users on usage of computer hardware.
- Assistance in restoration of a desktop due to failed or corrupted storage devices.
- Assistance in configuring files and print services.
- User administration and security policy administration as instructed by authorized client representative.
- Coordinate with third party providers as required by client.
- Liaising directly with the IT Manager.
- Other IT related activities assigned by the client in relation to desktop support.
