Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Sous Chef at our esteemed restaurant. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting our Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the smooth operation of all culinary activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of culinary skills and hygiene
- Oversee food production, ensuring prompt and efficient service
- Manage inventory and control costs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Certification from a culinary school is preferred
