Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Material Planner to join our team. As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain and ensuring the availability of materials needed for our production processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Create and execute material purchase plans based on production needs and inventory levels
- Conduct regular inventory audits and analyze data to identify potential risk areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and reduce costs
- Monitor and resolve any supply chain issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Material Planner or in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficient in using supply chain management software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
