Job Description
- Provide support to the entire estimating staff on preconstruction and bid efforts with quantity take-offs and bid review for construction projects.
Required Skills
- Must speak, read, and write fluent English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
- Ability to perform quantity survey and identify different construction materials.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction-related field.
- 3 years minimum combined work experience in building construction and estimating.
- Proficient with the following software programs:
- MS Office (Word, Outlook)
- Skype
- On Screen Take-Off (OST)
- Bluebeam
- Box
- Familiar with the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Master Format
- Familiar with the Uniform Building Code (UBC), International Building Code (IBC) and International Code Council (ICC)
- Familiar with different types of building construction (i.e. Type I, II, II, IV, V)
- Familiar with different types of estimating format (by Trade, by Division and Systems or Assembly)
- Ability to identify construction trades involved and/or required on a project.

Work Hours
- Monday – Friday 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (includes 1 hr. lunch break)
