Job Description
The Production Officer is responsible for effectively and efficiently planning, organizing, leading, and controlling production operations in his assigned production site/cluster to meet product volume, quality, timeliness, good manufacturing practices, sanitation, and hygiene.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Translates the overall manufacturing objectives to operational objectives/targets of his assigned production site/cluster.
- Reviews and analyzes manufacturing capacity based on demand.
- Reviews manning component of each line to ensure efficiency.
- Drives adherence to performance standards in all areas of production operations.
- Ensures plant’s compliance to occupation/health safety, GMP and HACCP.
- Design a monitoring system that would ensure consistent achievement of standard yields/material balance in his site/cluster.
- Recommends process improvements that would minimize manufacturing costs.
- Recommends short and long-term improvement plans for his unit, including upgrading of facilities/equipment, streamlining of operations.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of any 4-year course.
- With at least 5 years of work experience in a food manufacturing plant, preferably involved in similar production lines; 3 years of which in supervisory capacity.
- High leadership skills.
- With knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Candidates must be willing to work in Geoland Compound, San Pedro, Laguna.
