Job Description
A medical receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support to healthcare facilities. As a medical receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive prompt and courteous assistance. Your main duties will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering calls, and managing patient records. You will also coordinate with healthcare professionals and insurance companies to ensure smooth operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role. You must be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred, along with a working knowledge of medical terminologies and office software.
