Job Description
Our company is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Distribution Center Supervisor. As the supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, ensuring efficient and timely order processing, inventory management, and shipment coordination.
Your main tasks will include:
- Supervising a team of warehouse workers, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
- Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and coordinating with purchasing and production departments to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implementing and improving operational procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Ensuring accurate order processing and timely shipment of products to customers.
- Coordinating with logistics partners to optimize transportation and distribution processes.
- Resolving any operational issues or customer complaints related to the distribution center.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a distribution or logistics setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and related software.
