Job Description
HEALTH/NURSING FUNCTION
- Treat and evaluate all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice.
- Responsible for securing all records and equipment related to Occupational Health service.
- Guide and direct all referrals to outside healthcare providers and services.
- Manage all cases to ensure appropriate care and return to work.
- Responsible for medicine replenishment, inventory, and availability of medicines and medical supplies.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
- Provide new-employee health and safety orientation and develop materials for these presentations.
- Support the development of Occupational Safety and Health policies and programs.
- Initiate and organize Occupational Safety and Health trainings for employees.
- Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
- Investigate health-related complaints and inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Coordinate with DOLE Officers regarding routine inspection of all business units.
- Regularly prepare and submit Occupational Safety and Health reports to the Department of Labor and Employment.
