Job Description

A Helpdesk Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users in need of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. They play a crucial role in ensuring that computer systems and networks run smoothly within an organization.

Key responsibilities of a Helpdesk Analyst include:

  • Answering user inquiries and resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in-person
  • Providing step-by-step guidance to users for problem resolution
  • Identifying and escalating complex issues to the appropriate support teams
  • Maintaining records of user interactions and issue resolutions
  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software
  • Assisting with the setup and support of network devices and connectivity
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Qualified candidates for the role of Helpdesk Analyst should have strong communication and problem-solving skills. They should be knowledgeable in various operating systems, software applications, and networking concepts.
