Job Description
A Helpdesk Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users in need of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. They play a crucial role in ensuring that computer systems and networks run smoothly within an organization.
Key responsibilities of a Helpdesk Analyst include:
- Answering user inquiries and resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in-person
- Providing step-by-step guidance to users for problem resolution
- Identifying and escalating complex issues to the appropriate support teams
- Maintaining records of user interactions and issue resolutions
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software
- Assisting with the setup and support of network devices and connectivity
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles
