Job Description
As a Demand Planning Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for analyzing demand patterns, developing accurate forecasts, and collaborating with various teams to optimize inventory levels.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and analyzing market data to identify demand trends and patterns
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information for forecasting
- Developing demand forecasts and inventory replenishment plans based on historical data and market insights
- Monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential risks or opportunities
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Regularly reviewing and adjusting demand forecasts as needed
- Providing recommendations to improve demand planning processes and systems
- Training and mentoring junior team members
