Job Description
- Analyzes sales data and market trends to forecast future demand for products and/or services.
- Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute demand plans.
- Monitors inventory levels to ensure that product availability meets customer demand.
- Adjusts demand plans as necessary to reflect changes in market conditions or customer preferences.
- Conducts research on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform demand planning decisions.
- Develops and implementing strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts.
- Participates in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize demand planning systems.
- Communicates with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and manage supplier relationships.
- Provides regular reports on demand planning performance and identifies areas for improvement.
- Develops and maintains databases and analytical tools to support demand planning activities.
