Job Description

A Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers who are experiencing issues with computer systems, software applications, and hardware devices. This includes troubleshooting problems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing guidance and advice to customers. The Technical Support Specialist may be required to interact directly with customers via phone, email, or in person. They should possess excellent communication skills, have a strong knowledge of computer systems and software, and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Providing guidance and advice to customers
  • Installing and configuring computer systems and software
  • Training customers on new products or services

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Experience in a similar technical support role is preferred
