Job Description
Are you an accounting professional with strong attention to detail and analytical skills? We are currently seeking a General Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a General Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
