Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Ledger Junior Associate to join our team. As a General Ledger Junior Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
In this role, you will assist in recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with established accounting principles and company policies.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial in order to succeed in this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions
- Assist in processing and analyzing financial data
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support the team in month-end and year-end closing activities
