Job Description
- Welcome customers as they arrive at the oyster bar, providing a warm and friendly greeting, akin to a host welcoming guests into their home.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring to answer any questions about the menu with the expertise of a knowledgeable guide.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following established serving standards, much like a conductor orchestrating a seamless dining experience.
- Monitor tables for any additional needs and attend to them promptly, anticipating needs like a skilled caregiver.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests, resembling the meticulous attention to detail of a skilled organizer.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions, fostering teamwork akin to a well-oiled machine.
- Handle payments accurately and process transactions using the designated POS system with the precision of a financial expert.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and hospitality, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers, embodying the demeanor of a gracious host.
- Demonstrate a strong team player mentality, supporting fellow staff members and contributing to a positive work environment, like a key player in a winning team.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff, demonstrating the vigilance of a guardian of public health.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the oyster bar, exhibiting adaptability and versatility in fulfilling responsibilities.
