Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a Commercial Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and analyzing financial data for commercial construction projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to understand project requirements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and equipment costs
- Use estimation software and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Review and negotiate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Provide cost analysis and recommendations to help the team make informed decisions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
